International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day was celebrated at SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector-02, Panchkula with an aim of increasing awareness towards the conservation of tigers worldwide. The day is celebrated on July 29 every year. This day was first started and celebrated in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger summit and was conceptualised when experts realized that tigers were very close to extinction. The main goal of Tiger Day is to make sure that the protection and expansion of wild tiger habitats is promoted well.
