World Smile Day

World Smile Day is celebrated on the First Friday in the month of October every year. Students of SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector- 2 Panchkula were also encouraged to do acts of kindness to spread good will and cheer. Students made Smileys ,the symbol of kindness and affection in their Drawing files. They also brought Smileys in their tiffins. Principal Ms Deepika told them that your smiles lights the way for others to smile too. Janamashtami Celebrations at SMD

The pious festival of Janamashtami was celebrated with great religious fervor at SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector 2, Panchkula. All Children came in traditional dresses. Some boys came dressed as “Krishna” and some girls came dressed as “Radha”. Beautiful decorations were put up to make this event more cheerful and colorful. A “Matki Phod” event was also organized to make the mischievous nature of “Bal Gopal”. Children danced on the tunes of famous Krishna songs. Principal Ms Deepika appreciated and applauded the awesome performance of the students. Director Mr. Naresh Gupta blessed the students on
this auspicious occasion.

International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day was celebrated at SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector-02, Panchkula with an aim of increasing awareness towards the conservation of tigers worldwide. The day is celebrated on July 29 every year. This day was first started and celebrated in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger summit and was conceptualised when experts realized that tigers were very close to extinction. The main goal of Tiger Day is to make sure that the protection and expansion of wild tiger habitats is promoted well. FRESHER’S PARTY 26.5.17

A fresher’s party was organized for the Little Champs at SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector – 2 Panchkula. It was a pleasure to watch the young ones dressed up in vibrant and colourful attires. Aarna Tanwar was declared Miss SMD, Ayaan Bhardwaj was declared Mr SMD. Hritvi was appointed as Head Girl and Ishaan Garg as Head Boy (2017-18). Students enjoyed party tiffin, fun games and dancing on peppy numbers. Teachers also gave each one of them “Take Away” as it was the last working day for them before summer vacation. Principal Ms Deepika encouraged the students to join Summer Camp during holidays so that they can have an exciting summer with loads of fun and learning. Director Mr Naresh Gupta adviced the students to stay hydrated and avoid junk food during holidays.

Lemonade Party

To introduce sweet and sour taste to the students and also to show the process of making this healthy drink instantly a Lemonade Party was organised for the students of SMD Little champ Smart School Sector 2 Panchkula. The Children were demonstrated how to prepare “Lemonade” by stirring sugar in the water and then squeezing lemon into it. To enhance the taste , salt and black pepper were also added into it. Later on this instant and healthy lime water was relished by all the children and staff members. Little champs enjoyed this learning by heart. The idea behind this activity was to make the little ones understand the importance of drinking lemonade in summers rather than other beverages available in the market.

 

MOTHER’S DAY

Mother’s Day was celebrated today at SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector-02, Panchkula by inviting all the mothers of Little Champs . Students presented a Cultural programme to entertain their mothers. Some of the mothers also participated in the function by singing a song, dancing and sharing their motherhood experiences. Game of Tambola was also organised for the mothers and prizes were given to the winners. In the end each student honoured his mother by presenting a beautiful hand made card to his mother.

Principal Ms Deepika gave a Vote of thanks to all the mothers and appreciated the efforts of the teachers in putting up such a wonderful show.

Director Mr Naresh Gupta said – A mother holds her Children’s hands for a short time but remain in their hearts forever.

SMD LITTLE CHAMP SMART SCHOOL ORGANISES TRADITIONAL WELCOME FOR TINY TOTS

SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector 2, Panchkula welcomed the students in a traditional way by putting a tilak on their foreheads and distributing sweets among the students. Hand Print of all the students was taken in their school diaries so that they remember the first day in the school.
 

Principal Mrs Deepika said “the first day of the school is a big step for young children because for the first time they leave their parents to meet new people and face new experiences.

Director Mr. Naresh Gupta said, we aim to provide a friendly, safe and fun environment for all children.

FAREWELL PARTY

 
FAREWELL PARTY at SMD Little Champ Smart School Sector-2 Panchkula was organised on the last working day of the session 2016-17. Theme of the Party was “Minions”. All the Little Champs came in yellow and blue dress and enjoyed a dance party in the Assembly. They had brought food of their choice in the tiffins. Teachers also gave each one of them good wishes cards for their coming years. Principal Ms Deepika wished them all the best for their future endeavours.
